When is your next trip to 8th best honeymoon destination in the world? Guess where?
My brother was telling me about his upcoming trip which he will bring our mother to the island of Pangkor. A relative there has been asking him to bring our mother to go there since it has been a very long time she has not been there. Then I remembered that I have not been to Pangkor island for a very long time. When I was younger, we used to go there once every other year. Good seafood plus a relative is there and operates a fishing business too.
I vaguely remembers the street now but let me plan for a trip there and update everyone again. Meanwhile, Pangkor has been given the title of 8th best honeymoon destination in the world as per EnjoyTravel. (No need ask me who are they, as long as they list our place, we report yeah)

Yes, I remember the white sandy beaches too
There are many beaches in Malaysia along the Malacca Straits which are NOT white sandy beaches yeah. Maybe because of its location which is just at the start of the Malacca Straits. Plus now it’s also a free-duty status island. The only downside for many people is that the free-duty status does not include alcohol. I don’t drink much but I would love to buy alcohol as souvenirs for my friends who drink. So, yeah, this is not a happy news for me.
If you have never been, this is a great time to go. Seafood is definitely fresh. I would not comment too much on how cheap it is because these days, it really depends on what you order yeah. I do think the accommodation is affordable when compared to some more exotic destinations you have in mind. Happy visiting Pangkor island!
