Why USA’s Population Will Keep Growing While Others Decline

Did you know that when it comes to population, the decline has already started to happen for countries like Japan, South Korea, Germany and even China. However, one country will be bucking the trend. USA will not follow this trend because it remains an attractive magnet plus its population is also still growing. Please do take a look at the below for populations of selected countries. UK is also still showing growth and it would only peak in 2063! Maybe this is also helped by migration from other European nations too.

Avoid NUS and NTU Admission Scams: What You Need to Know

NUS is National University of Singapore and NTU is Nanyang Technological University. NUS is 8th in the world and NTU is 12th in the world. They do make Asia proud as they are right up there with the best in the world and if both of them were in the US, they would only be behind a handful of universities. Amazing achievements indeed.

Do you want to visit Europe? Which country is cheaper and thus better?

My friend’s moving to Germany, to a small little town called Melsungen. She said the salary scale will follow the small little town’s salary range and it’s not as high as what people may think. Do you want to know a little about this small town and perhaps about the property price as well? Here’s that article: Good friend moving to Melsungen, where’s that? Property can buy ah?

Every US$10 spent, US$1 belongs to tourism in 2024!

I love to travel. I long for the days when I could choose when to travel and could take up AirAsia’s free tickets offer anytime they offer it. Or whichever airline has special price but the dates are non holidays o0r low season dates. Traveling broadens the mind and helps us to understand… the property market even better! Haha. Just the other day, I was in Los Angeles, I wrote this article about their property price. Read here: Which is your preference? Higher food prices or higher property price?,

REA considering buying Rightmove?

IF you have no idea who is REA or Rightmove, then you may skip this article already. REA Group is a giant for a company of its kind; real estate site. Rightmove is UK’s public listed real estate company. In other words, based on reports from media, a giant from Australia may consider buying a giant from the UK. How they could strategically benefit from this merger and acquisition would depend on a lot of factors but as usual, there may be cost benefits from sharing one team for continuous development of their services.

My good friend’s moving to Melsungen for work. Where’s that? Can buy property ah?

Melsungen is a small ‘city’ in Germany. Please do not say it’s a town. The people there may not like it. There’s just 13,000 people living there but as per Wikipedia, within this 13,000 people there are 8 billionaires because Melsungen is the headquarter of B. Braun. “The 8 billionaires of the Braun family make Melsungen the city with the most billionaires per capita in the world!.”

Why is gold price rising when interest rates are decreasing?

People used to say that when the interest rates are lowered because it wants to encourage growth, it will also cause people to take out their money from the bank and perhaps investing into other financial instruments to earn dividends. Some of these people may invest into gold and this will push up the demand, thus pushing up the price of the gold too. Is this true?

How come property prices suddenly rise? Can still buy?

How come property prices suddenly rise? Can still buy? This is one question which people ask me all the time. My answer? As long as you can earn a lot more than the typical people, property is not really necessary. I treat property as a hedge against inflation and also poverty lah. Imagine paying rental for 100 years or more? Generations after generations will remain poor and the only one getting richer is the home owner. Browse through the sad stories of the homeless and you should understand why I always encourage home ownership.

Inflation dropped to 61.78 pct and interest rate is 50 pct

I am one super happy man if the fixed deposit could give me 10 percent per annum. It is well below this wish for double digits though. I have to be grateful. There is one country where the interest rate is 50 percent. Of course, it’s inflation is higher and the reason why interest rate is so high is to keep the inflation at bay. It seems to be working. This country is Türkiye. The reason for a high inflation is because of price increase in education, housing and hotel prices.

Apology has to be accepted and we have to move on but how could this even happen?

Apologies. I could not understand how such a blunder could have happened at such an event. It’s plain clear to see and it’s plain to do which is just to announce as per the signboard… right?

I am referring to the introduction of South Korea using a name which belongs to North Korea. It’s really absurd that this can happen. I do not know what will happen if the wrong name announcement was an European nation’s name. Do view the BBC’s video below.

What’s up and down with France’s Property Market?

Since the Olympics is now in France, I looked at France’s property market and I realised that their property market is not doing well currently. Prices have been falling after a high point in 2011 (both in slower increase and later started to fall below 0 after Q1 2021.

If we look at the chart below, COVID could have played one part as the prices started to slow down its increase after Covid arrived in 2020 and this has turned into a fall in property prices starting in Q1 2021 and this has continued until currently.
