Bali tourism sector may be affected with this new law

I have been to Bali many times. First time was for a Toastmasters’ Conference. Second time was with wife. Third time was with my whole family including my parents, brother, sister and their spouse. Fourth time was with my wife’s family; my in-laws. So, you can safely say I love Bali. In fact I do think I will be back there next year. It will be a toss between Phuket and Bali since I would like to go to Hong Kong too. Cannot afford so many international destinations. Must manage the budget lah. A friend thought Hong Kong is still under strict lockdowns. He thought people are still staying home and shops are under restrictions etc. I think I need to explain on behalf of Hong Kong which has just moved into 0+3 travelling arrangement just a few weeks back. I think it’s fair to say that despite some inconveniences from the 0+3 arrangements, it is relatively easy to travel to Hong Kong and even moving around Hong Kong when we are there right from the first day we arrive.

Euro is at 20-year low versus the US$. I think the whole world will all be in a crisis except one country? 😛

Looking at RM versus more currencies

Too many people are trying to ‘sell their business or their programme’ by harping on ringgit’s depreciation versus the US$. It’s like if anyone are still foolish enough to invest in Ringgit based investments, it will be the end of the world for them. (the investors). By the way, I remain extremely confident with the Ringgit especially currently when Ringgit is definitely undervalued if we look at the trade surplus. Countries with trade deficits, their currency should drop! Else we are no longer talking about fundamental and more on speculation.
