How much do judges earn in Malaysia? It’s going up by 30 percent starting 1st January 2026

Personally I think we have good judges here in Malaysia. The reason I say so is because the government of the day can lose in court and they can lose many times too. This is very similar to those countries where the people think highly of them. For example, Canada, Australia, UK. Their governments do lose in court battles too. This is unlike in some countries where the government has virtually won every legal case mounted against them or win every legal case they bring up against their opponents. Maybe if the government seldom loses, it’s because the government is already close to perfect?

It’s a huge achievement because Thailand is the top in ASEAN when it comes to international tourists. Perhaps the reason is because there are now ever more connections and it’s thus easier and probably cheaper to fly here these days. Ringgit at 4 year high versus the US$. What’s the highest we have ever been you think?

I was very happy when I exchanged Ringgit to Yen on past Monday. The rate I exchanged was Yen1000 to RM26.6 or around RM1 to Yen 37.59 This is very good rate because in January of this year when I went to Japan, the rate was RM1 to Yen35++. I think it should hover around this area until the time when I visit Japan again. Last January, it was Fukuoka and Nagasaki. This time it will be Nagoya and Kyoto. Yes, I love the country very much for a vacation. As for buying a home in the future, who knows? Coming back to US$ versus Ringgit. Do read the latest news below:

Actually, how much can we truly save with a fuel-saving car?!

I told him to stop joking because there’s no way he can save more money. He was a little offended. He challenged me to tell him my fuel consumption. Well, as at today, it’s 7.3 litre per 100km. That’s about 1 litre of RON95 petrol to 13.7km. His awesome car could give him nearly 20km to 1 litre. I did not bother to ask if that’s solely on highway because if it’s just highway, my Persona could also do way better than 1 to 13.7km. Anyway, he laughed at me and I laughed at him and I guess we agree to disagree.
