Majestic Gen Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian property developer with a growing portfolio across residential, commercial, industrial and integrated developments, has announced a strengthened leadership structure to support its next phase of expansion, succession and sustained growth.

Effective 1 July 2026, Wong Yik Fong will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of Majestic Gen. Under the new leadership framework, Dato’ Hoo Kim See will take on the role of Chairman and Director, while Ta Wee Dher will serve as Group Managing Director.

The announcement follows Majestic Gen’s rebranding milestone in February 2024, when the company renewed its corporate identity, sharpened its market positioning and introduced its CHARM principles, representing Customer-centric, Honesty, Ambitious, Resourceful and Magnificent, as the foundation of its development philosophy and organisational culture.

Since its rebranding, Majestic Gen has entered a stronger growth phase, launching six projects with a combined gross development value of RM3.05 billion by the end of 2025. With four further launches worth RM370.491 million planned for 2026, the leadership realignment is intended to strengthen execution, support succession and position the company for its next phase of growth across residential, commercial and industrial segments.

Strengthening Governance, Growth and Execution

Under the updated structure, Dato’ Hoo Kim See will continue to provide Board-level stewardship and guide corporate direction, governance, stakeholder confidence and institutional continuity.

As Group Managing Director, Ta Wee Dher will lead Majestic Gen’s business direction, driving strategic growth, land acquisition, business ventures, development planning, commercial performance and project pipeline expansion.

As Chief Executive Officer, Wong Yik Fong will oversee daily management and operational execution, covering project delivery, stakeholder coordination, sales performance, team development and organisational culture.

The structure establishes a clear leadership framework for Majestic Gen’s next phase. Dato’ Hoo safeguards the company’s vision, Ta drives growth and expansion, while Wong leads execution across the organisation.

Dato’ Hoo Kim See, Chairman and Director of Majestic Gen, said the transition reflects a deliberate move to prepare the organisation for future growth while maintaining continuity.

“Leadership succession means preparing the organisation for the future. As Majestic Gen continues to grow, we must build a leadership structure that provides continuity while empowering the next generation of leaders to drive the business forward,” said Dato’ Hoo.

“As Chairman and Director, my focus will be to provide strategic stewardship at Board level, preserve the company’s long-term direction and strengthen stakeholder confidence as we enter this next phase,” he added.

Ta Wee Dher, Group Managing Director of Majestic Gen, said the company’s next stage will focus on selective expansion, strategic opportunities and lasting value creation.

“Majestic Gen is entering a more ambitious phase of growth. My focus will be on driving the Group’s business direction, particularly in land acquisition, business ventures, strategic partnerships and development planning. These areas are important as we continue to strengthen our landbank, expand our project pipeline and identify opportunities that support the Group’s future growth,” said Ta.

“We see strong opportunities ahead as we expand our development footprint and strengthen our pipeline in response to evolving market demand, infrastructure growth and emerging economic corridors. At the same time, growth must remain disciplined. Every opportunity we pursue must be commercially sound, market relevant and capable of creating long-term value for the company and the communities we serve,” he added.

The appointment of Wong Yik Fong as Chief Executive Officer brings further operational strength to Majestic Gen’s leadership team. Wong has over two decades of experience across civil engineering, project management, township development, business operations and corporate leadership.

He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Trinity and held senior leadership roles at Gamuda Land, where he was involved in major township developments including Kundang Estates, Gamuda Gardens and Gamuda Cove.

His experience spans township planning, project delivery, stakeholder management and large-scale execution across some of Malaysia’s most recognised township developments.

Wong Yik Fong, Chief Executive Officer of Majestic Gen, said his immediate priority will be to strengthen execution and translate the Group’s growth direction into measurable results.
