Johor is the next economic powerhouse

Actually, this is not a new news. Yea, no typo or grammatical errors yeah. New news. 🙂 RHB Research says that Johor will be the next economic powerhouse in Malaysia. Actually, I think it’s not just within Malaysia but even compared to all the cities around the region, I think Johor or in this case Johor Bahru is poised for a great future potential where the economy is concerned. Even this is happening, remember?

10,000 people coming to Johor Bahru means better be ready!

Special Financial, Economic Zones will be cayalysts

Article in edge prop.my. RHB Research said that Johor is set to be the next growth engine for Malaysia, driven by two high-impact projects, namely the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) and the Special Financial Zone (SFZ) in Forest City.

In RHB’s Johor Market Outlook report, it said, “We believe that Johor’s economic growth will continue to surpass the national average, fuelled by its robust manufacturing sector, sustained strength in its services industry, advantageous location and well-developed infrastructure, as well as supportive policies from both state and federal governments. Johor has a well-developed infrastructure that includes ports, airports, road network and utilities, complemented by competitive business operation costs.” For more details do read it here: Article in edge prop.my.

It’s us versus the world yeah

Johor is right next to Singapore. Singapore wants to grow its economy further but without expanding the resources for people who needs a place to stay? Or to expand the economy and thinks the new company will buy a huge office in Singapore or hire the hundreds of talents all from within just Singapore? Get real yeah. The competition is against the world yeah. It’s not with Johor or even Malaysia.

Plus, we need to stop believing that Singapore can grow their population of talents by another 1 million and all these people stay inside the island? Erm… where would the properties be built and how would the prices become? Johor can complement Singapore’s growth yeah. Work together, be better against the world. RHB Research has something to say about Johor.
