Do you know that when we travel frequently, it’s best to travel frequently with the same airline? This helps us to earn loyalty points which could then be used to redeem for benefits offered by the airline loyalty card. One such card is Malaysia Airlines’ Enrich card. What are the benefits if we have the ‘right’ Enrich card?

Benefits ranges from earning enrich points every time we travel to extra baggage allowance all the way to bringing a guest into the Golden Lounge for free and last but not least the access to Platinum Lounge and even 100 percent upgrade in baggage allowance. These are benefits even if we just buying an economy ticket yeah. So, we do not need a Business Class seat in order to enjoy all these benefits, as long as we have flown enough and earned enough Elite Points for these cards.

When it comes to Elite Points, which is used to qualify for higher membership status, Enrich members will earn more points for longer flights, especially in Business Class or Business Suite.

As shown in the table below for flights flown from 1st January 2026 onward, Economy Class passengers can earn 1 to 2 points extra for flights covering a distance of over 1200 miles. Meanwhile, Business class passengers will get 1 to 5 more points, and Business Suite customers earn 2 to 8 more points for flights covering distances of over 500 miles. Article in soyacincau.com.

I am only at Enrich Silver currently but…

I think by end of this year, I should be able to upgrade from Silver to Gold. If that happens, then moving forward I would only fly via Malaysia Airlines. Haha. Higher Enrich Points, higher Elite points, bringing my wife into the Golden Lounge and well all the other benefits. I calculated too. It’s not possible to go up until Platinum. I could not afford to travel that many times even if it’s just economy seat. So, Enrich Gold would be my immediate goal. What about you?
