Press Release: Tropicana Foundation Supported 9,200 Community Members Across Malaysia During Ramadan
• During this holy month of Ramadan, Tropicana Foundation together with Tropicana’s M&S team organised a series of 11 outreach programmes to spread cheer to the public, old folks and young kids alike.
• The dedicated team from Tropicana Alam, Tropicana Aman, Tropicana Metropark, Tropicana Gardens, Tropicana Cenang, Tropicana Danga Cove, Tropicana Danga Bay and Tropicana Uplands respectively reached out to various orphanages and underprivileged communities across Malaysia.
• The respective teams were entrusted with delivering groceries, dates, bubur lambuk and specially curated bento boxes from De.Wan by the popular Chef Wan and other caterers.
Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana” or “The Group”) outperformed its Ramadan and Raya milestone this year! In the holy month of Ramadan, Tropicana Foundation, the charity arm of Tropicana, organised a string of social outreach programmes across Malaysia. Last month, the Foundation reached out to 107 children at the official launch of Santapan 29 Malam at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort and subsequently engaged with 400 community members during its CSR event at Tropicana Gardens Mall. This month, the dedicated Tropicana’s Marketing & Sales team (“M&S”) partnered up with Tropicana Foundation to activate a series of 11 social outreach programmes. Respective teammates from Tropicana Alam, Tropicana Aman, Tropicana Metropark, Tropicana Gardens, Tropicana Cenang, Tropicana Danga Cove, Tropicana Danga Bay and Tropicana Uplands engaged with 8,724 community members consisting of members of the public, old folks and orphanages. They were also entrusted with delivering groceries, dates, bubur lambuk and specially curated bento boxes from De.Wan by the popular Chef Wan and other caterers.
On top of providing packs of groceries, daily necessities and bento boxes, a clown balloonist was also present to entertain the younger ones with balloon animals and other fun impressions. Ixora Ang, Managing Director of the Marketing & Sales Department of Tropicana shared more on this meaningful CSR engagement. “Staying true to the spirit of giving and sharing during the holy month of Ramadan, we are very pleased to spread joy to the community and members of the public.
