This leader if elected will end America’s housing shortage?

I believe everyone should have a shelter. It does not need to be a property which they own. It could be a rental based unit from the government. Most important point is that the people are not homeless and they do not need to worry that their salary could not sustain them if they need to pay a high monthly rent. I saw with my own eyes how the homeless are putting up tents along the roadside. Image as below:

We need to learn from them if they could end housing shortage

We have many Malaysians who said they could not buy a property because prices were ALREADY too high (and when it was lower, they were not yet ready) and analysts are also saying that if we build more units, it will solve the shortage and this will stabilize the property price from increasing every year. Well, if there is a way to end housing shortage; ensuring everyone needing a home will have a shelter and most probably at an affordable price then this is worth following.

I just came back from Los Angeles and my friend who’s a US citizen explained to me why it’s very tough for anyone to afford a property because it has suddenly increased in price by double digits every year after the end of Covid lockdowns. This is because demand for properties can move up but the new units would need time to be constructed and this has caused a rise in price because some people just could not wait and is willing to pay a little more to buy that property.
