Argh… things are too expensive. Time to do something about it.

Food is getting too expensive right? Gone were the days when a plate of chicken rice was RM2.80(Haha… ok, I may belong to a much older generation). I remember when a plate of wanton men became RM5, everyone was shouting but today, it could have easily doubled in some restaurants. When it comes to cafes with air-conditioning, the prices would easily start from RM13.80 for the cheapest fried rice with egg to RM18.80 for fried rice with fried chicken for example.

What’s latest with my dear Langkawi island?

How long have you never been to Langkawi? I did not ask if you have ever been to Langkawi because as a Malaysian, we would most probably have been to Langkawi before. If we have not, time to go because even foreign tourists are visiting too. It’s an island I like because it’s a mere one hour of flight from KL. Perhaps even lesser than an hour. When I was based in Penang, I think I go Langkawi every year. Just too near and just a ferry ride away too. Super simple lah. Last year I visited but this year not yet.
