This is about LHDN Tax Relief.
I am very sure working Malaysians have started to submit their taxes. This is the website www.hasil.gov.my Hopefully all of us remember our Login ID and Password yeah. Anyway, there are a lot of relief (pelepasan) which we could claim during the submission of our taxes. It ranges from the individual to the medical expenses for parents to your lifestyle and even your education fees. Yes, studying for a higher degree is encouraged too. The deadline for individuals to submit is 30th April 2021.
The deadline for businesses to submit is 30th June 2021.

Remember yeah, there are two things we may not escape from. First one is death and second one is tax. Happy filing your taxes and maybe, just maybe you have overpaid and will now get a surprise ‘bonus’ from LHDN. For the ones who underpaid, erm… look at the image above again and see if there are really items in the Relief which we could claim. Else, do something about it this year, 2021 so that in 2022 when you submit, you could claim for more Reliefs. Happy submitting.
