Media Release – JQZ unveils stunning St Leonards penthouses with $10M+ expectations
Sydney, 17 June 2021 – Leading Sydney-based property developer, JQZ, has unveiled an exclusive collection of luxury penthouses which will top their ‘88 by JQZ’ residential precinct, currently under construction at 88 Christie Street, St Leonards, on Sydney’s north shore.
The stunning release of four two-storey penthouses, which will be positioned on levels 46 and 47 (220 metres above sea level), was launched to a select group of potential buyers at a lavish event on Friday evening.
The penthouses will be the jewel in the crown of JQZ’s $1.6-billion three-tower urban transformation precinct, which is set to transform the St Leonards town centre and includes two residential towers of 47 and 26 storeys, and one commercial tower of 15 storeys, designed by PTW Architects.
With the building perched on a ridge, the four-bedroom penthouses will enjoy the highest elevation of any residences on the north shore, with stunning views over Sydney CBD, Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Harbour.
Expected to sell for over $10M each, the penthouses will be the pinnacle residences amongst 637 apartments at 88 by JQZ, with purchasers having the option to choose between two floorplans, one sized at 279sqm and the other at 318sqm.
Designed for entertaining, standard features will include:
- double height ceilings in living rooms
- double-sided fireplaces between dining and living rooms
- home cinema rooms
- fully equipped butler’s pantries
- large balconies with expansive views
- home automation systems integrating all lighting, audio visual, mechanical and security services and window furnishings
With interiors designed by Angus Henderson from Henderson and Co., the carefully crafted penthouses will deliver a level of international design quality previously unseen on Sydney’s north shore.

“Our design approach also draws inspiration from the surrounding land, air and sea to create truly unforgettable spaces that capture the brilliance of Sydney and its natural canvas,” he confirmed.
“The ‘land’ has provided cues which have been translated in curved forms, the strength of the materials specified, colour and texture; the ‘air’ translates in the materials and lighting, allowing soft, glowing and radiant lighting effects creating life and movement throughout; and the ‘sea’, presents with natural soft tones set against precious metals and finishes to create sparkling reflections.

According to Jian Qiu Zhang, Founder and Managing Director of JQZ, the 88 by JQZ penthouses will be the most prestigious residences his company has delivered to date.
