Price of vegetables in Malaysia rising three to four folds? I read something which does not make sense about vegetable prices. I am sure you

Pesta Pulau Pinang, a cherished annual festival since the late 1960s, is concluding its final run at its Sungai Nibong site due to the upcoming LRT construction. With no immediate plans for relocation or continuation, the festival sees its longest hiatus, slated to resume post-2031. This year’s edition promises memorable attractions and experiences.

Just 2 weeks ago, I lost some money in the Crown casino in Melbourne. Sigh… Haha. It’s okay. Win some and lose some, so just let it be. Well, casinos are big business and New York State has just approved 3 new ones. What’s in in for the state of New York? Imagine earning US$1 billion (RM4.13 billion) every year from gaming taxes alone…

Take a look at the below screenshot when I google ‘Malaysia’. Yeap, everything about the social media ban for 16-year olds. My daughter is 12 and my son is 10, so both of them naturally will be banned from social media for 4 years and 6 years respectively. What are your thoughts about this social media ban? Well, my thoughts are similar as how we handle disciplinary issues too. It’s always the children’s to blame. However, is this really the case?

My late father sent me to school everyday in his Honda motorcycle. I think that was when I was in my primary 1, 2 and 3. Once upon a time, 4 of us were on the same motorcycle. My little brother in front, my father behind him, followed by the skinny me and then my mother at the back. WOW. Haha. Okay, it was just within the little town Teluk Intan yeah.

Hands up, who has gone and ‘invested’ time, money and effort in video arcades when this was a trend? It was not as brightly-lit. Some of my favourite games include Samurai Showdown… My favourite character is Charlotte. Superspace Fortress Macross where I could go until the end with my partner in crime, Mr. V. Just need maybe RM1 at most. Haha. Yes, we were that good then.

Uncle Charles Bakes Coffee Cheesecake. Easy recipe here. It does not even need water bath. (if you know what this is)

I have friends with non-Malaysian wives. I also have friends with non-Malaysian husbands. I think it’s perfectly fine because love conquers all mah. Okay, honestly, many would also speak of stories where the marriage is for money because the other half could be from a billionaire family. I am very sure not all of these stories are real and some are just because people are jealous. I have very wealthy friends who are humble and I have ‘not-so-rich’ friends who continue to pretend and definitely not humble.

I have been to a number of casinos. Within Malaysia, I have been to the SkyCasino in Genting Highlands. When I was in Perth, I dropped by the Crown Casino Burswood in Perth. I have also been to the one in Resorts World Sentosa, the Baha Mar Casino in The Bahamas and even a casino in South Korea (during honeymoon) which obviously I could not remember its name anymore. I have won in all these casinos except the one in Perth. Okay, the total loss is higher but I have actually won some money in all the casinos listed here including the one in Genting Highland, Singapore, in the Bahamas and in South Korea too.

I love to travel. I long for the days when I could choose when to travel and could take up AirAsia’s free tickets offer anytime they offer it. Or whichever airline has special price but the dates are non holidays o0r low season dates. Traveling broadens the mind and helps us to understand… the property market even better! Haha. Just the other day, I was in Los Angeles, I wrote this article about their property price. Read here: Which is your preference? Higher food prices or higher property price?,

I think I have been to around 20 countries thus far. The country I love the most is Japan. Culturally it’s deep. Technologically advanced, even the toilets! Sights and sounds wise, second to none. From the hills to the temples and to the sea side. Bullet trains are always on time, even just after the tsunami in 2011. Yes, I was there when the earthquake happened and then the tsunami happened. At the time, my parents could not reach me and the news kept showing destruction and deaths.
