‘Affordability Upgraded’: Penang affordable homes for Penangites

Sorry, only open for Penangites. To those who qualify and would like an ‘upgrade’, read on. I said ‘affordability upgraded’ because many years ago, when we hear about affordable units, we think of uncut grasses within the compound, lifts which do not work every few weeks, corridors which are dark, small units without a good design, cars parked haphazardly and more. Well, from the plans of the newest and latest affordable homes from the past few years, we can see all these are changing. In fact affordable’ no longer equate to ‘low cost’. Affordable is now upgraded. In fact the aim is now more on the lower medium income families. Take a look at some of the designs and I think you would agree that it’s really not like the low cost flats that you have been to before this. Of course, ONLY if you qualify.
For Penangites, one major website you can refer to would be http://www.penangpropertytalk.com which I think is one of the designated sites for all the affordable projects in Penang. In fact it has allocated one whole page for these affordable projects. All the projects and the information needed is accessible there. I have cut and paste a few of them below.
