Population growth wise, USA will continue to keep growing until 2100 while China and India declines
Population is already declining…
Did you know that when it comes to population, the decline has already started to happen for countries like Japan, South Korea, Germany and even China. However, one country will be bucking the trend. USA will not follow this trend because it remains an attractive magnet plus its population is also still growing. Please do take a look at the below for populations of selected countries. UK is also still showing growth and it would only peak in 2063! Maybe this is also helped by migration from other European nations too.
Plus the fact that there are over 730,000 international students and usually if these international students could get employment there, they will prefer to stay versus going back to their origin country as soon as they finish their studies. Once they stay, they may get married and these are productive group which could help boost the population too. Take a look at the chart below:

Nigeria is the powerhouse for population growth
From the current 234 million people, it will keep growing and by year 2100, it will have a projected population of over 600 million! Their median age is only 18 years old today. Not even at the marriage age and definitely not yet at child bearing age. This is why they will continue to grow versus countries where their median age is already over 40; Germany (46 years old) and Japan (close to 50 years old). Source: google.com
Estimated population demand?
If we could have the population number, we could use this number to continue estimating the number of properties which would be needed. For example, 600 million population could mean a demand of another 100 million homes if 6 people were to stay in the same house. If we estimate 4 to a house, then when the population reaches 600 million there should be a total property number of 150 million properties too. In many advanced nations, the number of people staying in the same house could be just 3 or 4.
In other words, demand could still rise but it does not mean people will be looking to buy huge houses in the future. When the type of property needed changes, it meant that there is a chance for demand and supply mismatch because what is available may not be what is being demand too.
Happy understanding all the these implications from a growing and declining population.
