IOI Properties Group Berhad (“IOIPG”) officially handed over the newly constructed multipurpose hall to Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (“MPSJ”) in a handover ceremony at Bandar Puteri Puchong today.
The official handover ceremony hosted by IOI Properties Group Berhad, was graced by its Group Executive Chairman, Tan Sri Dato’ Lee Shin Cheng; Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Subang Jaya (“MPSJ”) Yg Berbhg Dato Nor Hisham bin Ahmad Dahlan; ADUN Kinrara Yang Berhormat Ng Sze Han; and Timbalan Yang Dipertua MPSJ Yg Bbhg Hj Mohd Zulkurnain bin Che Ali.
IOI Properties Group Chief Executive Officer Lee Yeow Seng was present to do the honours of the key handover to MPSJ.

Also present were Chief Operating Officer for Property Development Teh Chin Guan; and Chief Operating Officer of Property Investment Cheah Wing Choong.

In line with its sustainable development concept, IOIPG is focused on creating thriving commercial hubs as well as vibrant residential communities. The multipurpose hall is one of the Group’s continual efforts in enhancing community development and building harmonious community relations whereby its location in the mature township of Bandar Puteri Puchong makes it as a suitable community centre for social interactions and recreational activities amongst the Puchong community.

We are continually exploring opportunities to strengthen community bonds; encourage recreational and sporting activities aimed at cultivating healthy lifestyles and nurturing harmonious relations. Thus we are glad to be able to work closely with MPSJ in enhancing the lifestyle of the Bandar Puteri Puchong community”, said IOIPG Chief Executive Officer, Mr Lee Yeow Seng.
Salient Features
The 7000 sq ft new multipurpose hall with an internal built up that is the size of more than 3 badminton courts costs RM2 million; and is conveniently located in Bandar Puteri 10. Residents of Bandar Puteri Puchong now no longer have to travel to multipurpose halls located in Batu 14 Puchong or Puchong Intan. This hall is well-equipped with a huge stage, PA system room, 2 changing rooms, 3 badminton courts and surau amongst others. The high ceilings and wide doorways are notable features that encourage the use of sunlight and natural ventilation. Apart from this, the hall is equipped with handicap-friendly features and facilities such as ramps for easy wheel chair access, OKU toilets and OKU parking lots to cater for those with special needs.
The 500pax capacity of the multipurpose hall makes it a perfect choice for private functions and community events including weddings, neighborhood gatherings, festive celebrations and other activities.
