IJM Land Launches Shock and Shiok Campaign at Seremban 2

Press Release: IJM Land Launches Shock and Shiok Campaign at Seremban 2

A home purchase today carries a bigger question than location, space and design. Can the home support the way a family lives, moves and manages costs in the years ahead?

That question sits at the heart of the Shock and Shiok Campaign @ Seremban 2, a homeownership campaign by IJM Land Seremban 2 that links EV mobility, solar support and future-ready living within selected Seremban 2 homes.

The campaign was inspired by a reality many homebuyers understand. A home is one of the biggest decisions a family will make, but the decision does not end at purchase. It continues through everyday costs, daily movement, energy use and the need for a home that can support the future with greater readiness.

Running from 1 July 2026 to 31 December 2026, the campaign is open to eligible purchasers of selected Seremban 2 developments, namely Sutera Phases 1 and 2, Batiq Phase 1, Nova Phases 1 and 2, and Vio Banj’ran.

THE IDEA BEHIND “SHOCK” AND “SHIOK”

The campaign concept draws on a familiar Malaysian expression and turns it into a homeownership story that begins with excitement and continues with lasting practical value.

In this context, the “Shock” comes from the unexpected scale of the reward. Eligible purchasers will stand a chance to win one of three brand-new Proton e.MAS 5 Premium electric vehicles worth a combined value of RM209,400*, fully funded by IJM Land Seremban 2, a grand incentive that goes far beyond the usual property campaign offerings.

The “Shiok” comes after the excitement through the longer-term value of owning a home prepared for future mobility and energy use.

Participating homes come equipped with built-in EV-ready charging isolator points, while eligible purchasers of Sutera, Batiq and Nova will receive complimentary solar PV panels.

Together, these features give the campaign its deeper meaning in homeownership. The reward begins the experience, while the home delivers lasting benefits through future-ready features that support mobility, energy use, and household planning long after handover.

FUTURE-READY HOMEOWNERSHIP AT SEREMBAN 2

As household costs become a greater consideration for Malaysian families, buyers are increasingly looking for homes that support long-term planning, including readiness for electric vehicles, energy use and lifestyle infrastructure that remains relevant beyond the point of purchase.

Through the Shock and Shiok Campaign, IJM Land Seremban 2 is bringing this proposition closer to everyday homeownership. The campaign strengthens the value of selected homes by pairing property ownership with EV mobility and solar support, connecting the home more clearly to daily movement, household energy use and long-term planning.

This initiative also perfectly aligns with the broader Seremban 2 ecosystem. As a self-contained township, Seremban 2 brings together residential neighbourhoods, commercial conveniences, education access, connectivity, community infrastructure, parks and landscaped green spaces within a mature living environment.

This gives the campaign greater context. EV-ready provisions and solar PV support are presented as part of a wider township experience where daily needs, mobility, greenery, convenience and long-term liveability come together.

“The Shock and Shiok Campaign was shaped by a clear shift in how families think about homeownership today,” said Datuk Chai Kian Soon, Chief Operating Officer of IJM Land.

“Buyers are looking beyond the home as a physical space. They are asking how it can support daily movement, energy use and long-term household planning. Through this campaign, we are bringing EV mobility, solar support and township living into one practical proposition that continues delivering value well beyond the point of purchase.”

Datuk Chai said the campaign reflects IJM Land’s continued effort to make its townships more responsive to evolving lifestyle needs.

“Future-ready homeownership must be practical in daily life. By bringing together EV mobility, solar support, township convenience and green spaces, we are creating a living environment that supports EV adoption, better household energy planning and greater confidence for families in the years ahead,” he added.

The Shock and Shiok Campaign @ Seremban 2 underscores IJM Land Seremban 2’s commitment to strengthening homeownership through practical features designed for changing household needs. By connecting homes with EV mobility and solar support, the campaign gives purchasers a clearer path towards future-ready living within Seremban 2’s mature township environment. For more information, log on to https://seremban2.ijmland.com/our-properties/ or WhatsApp 06-761 3517.
