Before buying that property, check if the area is covered by 4G or 5G or NoG? This site shows for ALL providers
Tired of paying too much for broadband?
I am actually not happy when my vendor gives great offers to new customers but not reward their loyal customers. This was how Maxis lost me (new customers get lower and better service) despite me with them since the very beginning. In fact, I was with them for 20 years plus prior to changing to another vendor. What about you? Do you also have the same experience and in fact did the same thing as me? Changing to another vendor even if that new vendor is very slightly not as good simply because they do try harder?
Want to check out other providers?
First way: You can check one by one… at the vendor’s site. Or you can walk in to their branches and ask them too. I have tried both and I have to say that it takes a long time and lots of effort. Well, there’s one way I found out recently. It’s via jendela.com You. have heard of it? Great. You have not? they re friendly and provides the following information too. They include all vendors, not just one. Here are some screenshots for a better idea and they are really good. First screen tells you that the search will cover all the vendors as listed. Basically, everyone.

In order to start searching, just type in the road name. As below. Choose the one which is what you re trying to search for.

Then, you will see the coverage map. It would tell you if there are any broadband service.

This is then followed by the mobile broadband service. We can see that for the address I entered, only Celcom and Digi together with Yes mobile has broadband coverage. U Mobile, Maxis and Unifi Mobile does not cover at all. However, the available coverage by the vendors including Celcom, Digi and Yes are only at 4G level and not at 5G level yet. Maybe this is because the area is still very new?

Now you can choose the one which fits you the best
Somehow… the difference between both is just RM1. In this case, the choice would be the one providing the most coverage not just at home but also in office, when we travel etc too.

Before we buy our home, best to check out the broadband coverage
After we have purchased the home and we found out our current mobile provider does not cover that area, it will be an inconvenience. So, it’s best to check the coverage before we decide if we like to continue with the purchase. These days, not having broadband coverage is like wanting to eat our favorite nasi kandar and yet the shop is situated at the end of a 1,000 steps staircase. Haha. Maybe worse.
Happy searching and choosing.
