Creative workshops, thoughtful gifts, and essential donations bring smiles and community spirit to children in Seremban 2

SEREMBAN, 23 DECEMBER 2025 – In conjunction with the 30th Anniversary of Seremban 2 Township, IJM Land, one of Malaysia’s leading property developers, hosted its annual Angel Tree Charity Night at S2 Club, Seremban. This year’s theme, “Creating Memories Through Art & Giving”, brought festive cheer, creativity and heartfelt joy to the children of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Yatim Dan Miskin Wawasan Port Dickson, marking an evening of unity, generosity, and community spirit that reflects three decades of connecting lives and shaping futures in Seremban 2.

Since 2016, the Angel Tree Charity Night has embodied IJM Land’s enduring dedication to the Seremban community. This year, 26 children aged 1 to 17 joined the festivities, experiencing a heartwarming celebration thoughtfully designed to spread joy, laughter, creativity and a sense of belonging. The evening offered the children an opportunity to forge meaningful connections, create lasting memories, and immense themselves in the spirit of care and togetherness that defines the Seremban 2 community.

Datuk Chai Kian Soon, Chief Operating Officer of IJM Land Berhad, shared the vision behind this beloved initiative, “The Angel Tree Charity Night is our way of bringing joy, sparking creativity, and creating meaningful memories for children in our community. Every smile, every laugh, and every shared moment reminds us of the power of togetherness and compassion in Seremban. We hope these experiences inspire hope, confidence, and happiness in the lives of the young ones we celebrate each year.”

This year’s celebration featured a fresh, creative approach with a special Handcraft Workshop at February Lab Studio. The children participated in a DIY Hand Modelling Clay session, crafting their own jewelry trays or pen holders in the afternoon. The workshop encouraged self-expression, curiosity, and creativity, providing hands-on learning while staying true to the heart of the Angel Tree tradition. Each child brought home their handmade creation as a cherished keepsake from the day.

The festivities continued at S2 Club with a warm and welcoming buffet dinner, where laughter and excitement filled the room as everyone enjoyed the meal together. The highlight of the evening was the much-anticipated Santa Claus appearance, who spread festive cheer and presented thoughtfully sponsored gifts contributed by S2 Club members through the Angel Tree initiative. The joyful gift presentation was followed by a cheerful photo session, capturing precious moments that the children will cherish for years to come.

Beyond the celebration, IJM Land extended its support to the community by donating essential supplies, including electrical appliances, groceries, and daily necessities, to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Yatim Dan Miskin Wawasan Port Dickson, helping the orphanage meet its daily needs.
