IOI Properties Group Ends FY2024 on a High Note

IOI Properties Group Berhad (“IOIPG” or “Group”) recorded a revenue of RM2.94 billion for
financial year 2024 (“FY2024”) which ended on 30 June 2024. The robust performance is attributed to stronger results across all segments. The property investment segment maintained its stellar performance with a commendable growth of 32%. The hospitality and leisure segment also grew by 26% driven by the contributions from Moxy Putrajaya, a 480-room hotel which opened its doors just before Chinese New Year and the newly acquired 150-room W Kuala Lumpur, which came onboard in February 2024.

EV News: Close to 1,000km range and could be charged in 9 minutes?

I just told my brother on Sunday that if I were to drive an EV back to Ipoh from KL, I may not need to charge the battery if the range is good enough. You see my home back to my Ipoh home is a mere 198km. To and fro, would be around 400km. If the EV offers a range of 500km and I conservatively take a 20 percent discount, it will still leave me with 400km range.

Have you achieved high income status versus the world?

The definition of “High-income countries are those with a GNI per capita of more than $14,005 in 2023” Source: ourworldindata.org. Thus, if we currently earn RM61,000 per higher per year, we are considered as having an income which is high income versus the world today. While this does not seem to be a lot but the truth is, there are many countries with far lower per capita income yeah.
