New Capital City Nusantara: Why and Progress

Okay, if you have not heard about this Nusantara capital city, then it’s time to follow its news a bit more closely yeah. This is the new capital city of Indonesia and is supposed to replace Jakarta in the future. Many reasons which we will go through below too. If everything goes according to plan, this will be another source of economic growth for both Sarawak and Sabah too. Perhaps the flights between these states with Nusantara could even match the frequency of the KL to Singapore route.

My wife has been reminding me many times that we need to somehow find a cruise to try which sails during the school holidays so that we can bring the children along for a cruise holiday. More often than not the cruises do not start from Malaysia or the choices are limited too. The numbers are certainly increasing slowly. There will be a new cruise from Singapore to Melaka starting in November 2024 which will bring even more vibrancy to Melaka.

Do you know which generation saves the most money?

I think I am able to save some money every month. However, I should try to save more and stop buying too many things which I may not need. I have fully paid for my car around 9 years ago and my wife’s car around 3 years ago. So, for now, we do not pay a single sen for car installment. I intend to maintain this for as long as I could even though I am also planning to buy replace my car’s wife next year. I already informed her, so I think this will proceed. In order to do that successfully, I need to save more before then. What about you? Which generation are you and do you save enough money?
