Digital currency scam: RM400,900 lost to a scammer via Facebook
These were the earlier scam articles. All the different ways that people have been scammed. I seriously hope that when everyone knows about all these different ways scammers work, they will be better prepared and won’t be scammed so easily. Sometimes, the only reason why people are not scammed is because they have the knowledge. Else, they may think of attractive investment schemes as too good to be true and they would not want to miss it. In actual fact, it’s really just too good to be true.

Tips to stay away from scams?
#1 – Understand what makes logical sense and what does not. There are no schemes which is offered to us if it’s super high and super safe. It would have been offered to the banks instead. Easier and banks can invest more.
#2 – Tell our friends if we have such lucrative offers. If it’s beneficial for us, why not share with more people? Why be so greedy and only keep it to ourself? Telling more may mean others could point out that it’s a possible scam.
#3 – Transferring funds again and again and again because the returns are becoming too lucrative? Why not just withdraw it first and use the profits to make everyone happy? If it’s a scam, then we would always be awake versus after many times of transfers later.
#4 – Share scam news to friends so that they are aware as well. Many times people got cheated because they really did not know or may not be aware of all the cases which are already happening. Perhaps they were too busy with their work and did not read about these…
