NCT Group Partners with RHB Bank and SJPP to Support SME Growth
Strategic collaboration to help Malaysian SMEs access financing, government guarantees and future-ready industrial ecosystems
KUALA LUMPUR, 20 August 2026 – In today’s dynamic business landscape, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s) have emerged as integral drivers of economic growth. To support their continued development, NCT Group of Companies partnered with RHB Bank Berhad and Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad (SJPP) to organise a seminar series themed “Driving SME Growth with Tailored Financial Solutions & Government Guarantee Schemes”.
The initiative convened industry leaders, financial institutions and government agencies to address practical challenges faced by Malaysian SMEs at different stages of growth. Participants gained knowledge of tailored financing facilities, government guarantee schemes, business expansion strategies, sustainability adoption and productivity enhancement to support their business planning and future growth.
The series concluded on 19 August 2026 at Wisma FMM Penang, following the inaugural seminar held on 21 July 2026 at Wisma FMM in Bandar Sri Damansara.
Both sessions featured presentations by En Fairuz Salleh, Head of Strategy & Stakeholder Management at SJPP, Mr Kelvin Chin, Head of SME Business Development at RHB Bank Berhad and Mr Simon Chan, General Manager, Sales & Marketing from NCT Group of Companies.
Speaking on the collaboration, Mr Simon Chan, General Manager, Sales & Marketing of NCT Group of Companies, said “As Malaysia advances its industrial transformation agenda, SMEs remain an important engine of the nation’s resilience.
Facilitating their progress requires a strong business ecosystem, and this is precisely the purpose of our collaboration with RHB Bank and SJPP. As a developer that works closely with many SMEs, we understand the challenges businesses face as they grow. Working with established partners allows us to respond more effectively to these needs and contribute to the continued development of Malaysia’s industrial sector and economy.”
Beyond financing solutions, each seminar showcased industrial development opportunities tailored to its respective region. The Kuala Lumpur session highlighted NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP), Malaysia’s first Managed Industrial Park located within the Integrated Development Region in South Selangor (IDRISS), while the Penang session featured NCT Innosphere (NIS) in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah, strategically positioned to support cross-border trade, logistics and advanced manufacturing within the Northern Corridor Economic Region.
Attendees also engaged directly with representatives from the three organisations, allowing them to discuss their specific business needs and explore suitable areas of support for their future plans.
