Press Release: Traffic diversion along Lebuh Puteri to facilitate excavation works for construction of underpass

IOI Properties Group Berhad (IOIPG) will temporarily close the intersection of Lebuh Puteri  and Persiaran Puteri in Bandar Puteri Puchong in front of IOI Galleria @ Puchong on  21 August 2021 at 12.00am to facilitate excavation works for the construction of an underpass. 

The construction works are expected to be completed by end-December 2021. The underpass  will complement the upgraded Bandar Puteri Puchong Interchange and will further enhance the connectivity of Bandar Puteri Puchong upon its completion. 

The entire project encompassing the completed Bandar Puteri Puchong Interchange, the  upgrading and enhancement of Lebuh Puteri, the construction of the underpass, walkways,  pedestrian link bridges and landscaping is wholly-funded and constructed by IOIPG at the cost  of RM70 million. 

During this construction period, alternative routes will be made available to motorists.  Temporary traffic lights have been installed at the T-junction of Lebuh Puteri and Jalan Laman  Puteri 2 near the Petronas petrol station; and two temporary U-turns have been set up in front of  the McDonald’s outlet at The Cube. 

Motorists are advised to follow these alternative routes during the closure of the intersection of  Lebuh Puteri and Persiaran Puteri (please refer to the attached map – Appendix 1): ? Motorists from Persiaran Puteri wishing to turn right to Lebuh Puteri may turn left into  Lebuh Puteri and make a U-turn at the temporary traffic lights near Petronas (please refer  to 1A on map). 

? Residents from Puteri 9, 10, 11 and 12 wishing to head towards Puteri 1 and 2 are  advised to use Jalan Laman Puteri 2 to turn into Lebuh Puteri at the temporary traffic  lights (please refer to 1B on map). 

? Motorists from Lebuh Puteri wishing to head towards Persiaran Puteri can turn right at  the temporary traffic lights in front of Petronas into Jalan Laman Puteri 2 (please refer to  2A on map). Alternatively, motorists can go further along Lebuh Puteri to make a U-turn  in front of McDonald’s at The Cube (please refer to 2B on map). 

? Motorists from Puteri 7, Le Pavilion and Columbia Asia Hospital en route to Puteri 1  and 2, and Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong may use the temporary U-turn in front of  McDonald’s at The Cube (please refer to 3 on map). 

Motorists are advised to follow directional signages placed along Lebuh Puteri and the alternative  routes. Upon completion of the road works, residents and the business community can expect  smoother traffic flow in the integrated development of Bandar Puteri Puchong.
