Well, now we have the latest news. Sungai Buloh Hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) capacity has reached 96%. It means that there is just 4% capacity left before the ICU can no longer accept any new patients. This is considered bad news yeah everyone.
Article in malaymail.com There are concerns that Covid-19 cases may spike again next month. Selangor Health director Datuk Dr Sha’ari Ngadiman said that the surge in cases was due to the hospital receiving Covid-19 cases from other hospitals around the Klang Valley.
He said, “This hospital is a Full Covid-19 Hospital and a Covid-19 referral hospital for all hospitals not only in the state of Selangor but also in the Klang Valley.
“Therefore, the ICU of Sungai Buloh Hospital also receives Covid-19 cases from other hospitals so that the ICUs of other hospitals can be used to accommodate more non-Covid-19 case needs.” Article in malaymail.com
It’s not easy but need to continue to be wary
Continue to be very careful yeah. Keep sanitizing our hands continuously. Wear masks at all times and well, dining in has its risks yeah. Meanwhile shops must continue to be very serious in only admitting those who could show their vaccination certificates. Please CHECK and not just look at the screen because it may be a screenshot! Nope, I do not think we will go back into a lockdown because the question is whether the cases are under control and not whether there are more new cases or fewer new cases. In the mean time, please go and get vaccinated and get the booster shot if needed yeah. Thank you.
