The Home Ownership Campaign (HOC) was a campaign to help more Malaysians own a home. It was also to help reduce the overhang which was happening in Malaysia. From it’s initial ending date of 30th June 2019 but this has been extended till end of 2019. Initial target for HOC was RM3 billion worth of sales.
What has happened thus far? What may potentially be happening? Let me share some thoughts on the effects of HOC extension on Malaysia’s property demand. Plus I will touch a little on the Budget 2020 as well because there was something targeted for foreigners too when it comes to overhang properties.
