As per the usual economic benefits of connectivity, the more connected all these towns are, the more economic benefits it will bring to all. Taiping residents could now choose to take trips all the way to Banting and vice-versa. If these residents had stayed at their hometown every same weekend, they will not be spending much money. If they travel however… they will have to try all the good food in the new place, stay in the hotels and even buy souvenirs for their loved ones back home. All these are not easy to estimate but safe to say, it shall benefit many and with the multiplier effects, may even benefit the respective real estate markets too. Happy following.
