Discovery Park by Gamuda to be ready in mid-2019

New townships are in focus these days. They are usually found over 30 minutes from the city centre. This is where developers could have a large piece of land for developments over the next 10-15 years. Every developer is trying to build up the attractiveness of such a township because they are usually not your typical mature neighbourhood which has been around for a long time. Earlier article here on why buy into townships.

They will be participating in Discovery Park’s development with exciting offerings. He shared, “The Adventure Park is the vantage point for thrill seekers to enjoy lush greenery of the adjacent Paya Indah Wetlands and Kuala Langat forest reserves through various adventure offerings, such as Malaysia’s first tethered hot air balloon operated by AKA Balloon, indoor go karting in Blastacars Drift Karts, mountain bike or all-terrain vehicle (ATV) riding, outdoor glamping with Caravan Serai and climb through adventure rope course.” He added, “They (the six partners) are just the beginning, there will be more exciting offerings in Gamuda Cove in near future.” Full article in Edgeprop.my here.
With the current rate of urbanisation, especially from other states into Greater Kuala Lumpur, I think the demand for property will continue to push developers to do more to attract these newer generation of buyers. If we are to look at how Sydney and Melbourne is growing, we will notice the same phenomenon. Homes are being built further away but with connectivity, amenity and many times, something extra for everybody. Malaysians are not used to the word suburb but I think suburb will be the keyword for a long time to come. It used to be ‘so far away’ comment because there’s nothing much once one moves out of the city centre. These days, it’s worth a serious look. Happy visiting the Discovery Park next year.
